Environment Hazardous Substances Compliance (RoHS,POPs, TSCA directive)

EU RoHS	The EU Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2002/95/EC took effect in 2006. Its replacement, Directive 2011/65/EU entered into force in 2011 and 2015/863/EU entered into force in 2015. RoHS applies to certain electrical and electronic equipment that are put on the market in EU member countries. RoHS may authorize continued use of lead where no feasible alternatives are available. TSCA	As required under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), as amended by the Frank R. These chemicals build up in the environment over time and can therefore have potential risks for exposed populations, including the general population, consumers and commercial users, and susceptible subpopulations (such as workers, subsistence fishers, tribes and children).
